Director of Tennis

Our Junior Tennis Program is run by the highly acclaimed Neil Friedman.  Neil graduated from Rutgers University in 1982 as Captain of the tennis team.  After having worked at the Nick Bollettieri and Harry Hopman tennis academies in Florida, Neil has since been successfully coaching tennis in New York City for over twenty years.  Most recently Coach Neil was the General Manager and Tennis Director of Tower Tennis where he ran a very exciting program of Tennis for Kids.  Prior to that Coach Neil spent 12 years at the Manhattan Plaza Racquet Club teaching children and adults from beginners to tournament players.  Neil continues to play competitvely in USTA sanctioned tournaments and has consistently maintained a top ranking in his age division.  Neil is also a certified member of the USPTR teaching organization and a certified racquet stringer of the USRSA.
